Plagiarism Policy

The Journal of Knowledge Engineering and Social Development (JKESD) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. All submitted manuscripts must be original works of the authors and must not contain plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, or improper citation of sources.

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to, copying text, ideas, images, or data from previously published works without proper acknowledgment, self-plagiarism (reusing significant portions of one's own previously published work without citation), and submitting work that has been published or submitted elsewhere. All sources used in a manuscript must be properly cited according to the journal’s required referencing style.

To ensure originality, all submissions to JKESD are screened using reliable plagiarism detection software before being sent for editorial review or peer review. Manuscripts found to contain a high level of similarity or clear evidence of plagiarism will be rejected immediately.

If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected and the authors may be restricted from submitting to the journal for a specified period. If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal will take appropriate action in accordance with international publishing ethics guidelines, which may include issuing a correction, retraction of the article, and notifying the authors’ affiliated institutions if necessary.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submissions are entirely original and that any use of previously published material is properly cited and permitted where required. By submitting a manuscript to JKESD, authors confirm that their work complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy and accepted standards of academic integrity.
