Abstract

This paper is aimed at the investigation of the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) on modern games design with an emphasis on immersion and player personalization. As one of the revolutionary technologies, AI brings changes into game design by using dynamic story generation, affective interaction, and personalized experience of game play. In this context, the research explores the potential effects of AI in three areas: dynamic story generation, affective AI, and personalized player experience. Machine learning algorithms and neural networks are explored with a view to understanding their influence on the player's immersion and satisfaction.
